The Project Hub: Your Mission Control (Now Smarter Than Ever!)
The Project Hub is your high-level view of everything your business is working on. But let’s be honest, as you grow, this list gets long. You don’t want to scroll through a dozen completed projects to find the one you were just working on.
That’s why we’ve introduced the new “Recent” filter.
Now, by default, the Project Hub shows you the projects you’ve most recently viewed or updated, putting your active work right at the top. No more searching. No more digging. Just click on the Workshop, and the projects you care about right now are waiting for you. It’s a small change that saves a massive amount of time and mental energy.
The “Idea-to-Feature” Superpower: Never Lose a Great Idea Again
This is where the real magic happens. We’ve completely redesigned how you handle brainstorming with our new Idea Notes.
Imagine you get a long email from a client with a mix of feedback and a few brilliant suggestions. The old way? You’d copy-paste bits and pieces into a task list. The Hello Gekko way?

Create an Idea Note: In your project’s “Ideation” tab, you now have a space for “Idea Notes.” Give it a title like “Feedback from Sarah’s Email” and paste the entire email into the description box. You can even tag the team members who were part of the conversation.

Unleash the AI: See that little “Magic Wand” icon? Click “Extract Potential Features,” and Kaizen will instantly read your raw notes—no matter how messy—and distill them into a clean list of actionable features. That vague client suggestion becomes a clear feature like “Implement a customer loyalty program.”

You’re Still the Boss: The AI’s suggestions appear as “Potential Features” right inside the note. You can edit them, delete the ones that aren’t a good fit, or even add your own ideas the AI might have missed. When you’re ready, you simply click a button to promote a potential feature to your “Inbox.”
This workflow ensures that every single gem of an idea, whether from a client or your own brainstorming, is captured and ready for action.
Your Visual Roadmap: The Upgraded Features Board
Once you’ve promoted your ideas, they land in the “Inbox” on your Features Board—a beautiful, visual roadmap for your project. We’ve added some incredible new capabilities here:

New “Completed” and “Archived” Columns: Drag features to “Completed” to celebrate your wins! For ideas that are good but not right for now, drag them to “Archived.” This keeps your board clean and focused without permanently deleting valuable concepts.

The All-in-One Feature Card: This is more than just a sticky note. When you click on a feature card, it now expands to show you everything related to it:

Description: Add detailed notes and specs.

Associated Tasks: See a checklist of all the tasks linked to this feature. You can even check them off right from the card!

Sub-Projects: If a feature is big enough to become its own project, you’ll see it linked here.
